Combining the two elements of yin and yang, this class gives students the range of poses needed to create balance for the mind, body and spirit. Some classes will start with deep, introspective yin poses that target connective tissue and expand flexibility, then evolve into energizing and uplifting flows that encourage strength and stamina. Other classes will warm the body with flow and movement first, then settle into poses for longer holds. And, some classes will flow yin and yang together, combining the two throughout. The end of each class will include a classic savasana or restorative pose, allowing the body to release and learn the art of relaxation.
