Flow is a state in which it feels like time does not exist. We are totally immersed in our present moment experience, with an energized focus and enjoyment in the process.
These weekly flow classes encourage students to let go of preconceived ideas and expectations, bringing present moment awareness and an attitude of curiosity, open-mindedness, acceptance and non-judgement to their practice.
Based on Vinyasa yoga, classes incorporate a series of movements synchronized with breath, while providing moments of stillness to give students a chance to take notice of their body, how they feel within poses, throughout transitions, and after flow sequences, as well as the meaning and intent behind different asanas. The sequences, sometimes fast, sometimes slow, build heat and strength in the body, while improving flexibility and calming the mind.
Students are encouraged to tap into their inner potential and enjoy bringing more flow into their life!
This class is open to all bodies and abilities, but please note that it can be challenging.
